The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has deployed two additional Armoured Personnel Carriers, APCs, to strengthen security operations in Kebbi State.

This was contained in a statement by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki, on Monday.

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Bello Muhammad Sani, presented the vehicles to Governor Nasir Idris at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi.

The governor said the APCs would help address security challenges in parts of the state, particularly farming communities affected by bandit attacks.

The Commissioner of Police later took the governor on an inspection of the vehicles.
