However, he struggled to have any positive impact on the game.
That included in the very first minute when picked him out with a superb cross-field pass – only for Madueke to send a wayward cross out of play.
And at other times he failed to successfully take on his full-back.
So at half-time, Ibra wasted no time slamming Madueke.
Zlatan said on Fox: “They’re playing with one player less so far.
“Madueke has been on the pitch.
“But I have to say every time he gets the ball so far he makes the wrong decision and he’s walking on the pitch.
“If I’m , I change it because he’s done nothing.
“Even the hydration break didn’t help him.”
That was a reference to Tuchel singling out Madueke for specific animated instructions during the mid-way water stoppage.
And Tuchel clearly agreed with Zlatan’s scathing assessment.
Because at half-time, he hooked Madueke off and replaced him with Arsenal team-mate who has been managing an ongoing Achilles problem throughout the tournament.
Another Gunners man also got subbed off at the break with – who was ill this week and at risk of a suspension – making way for yet another Premier League winner, .
