Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has said he could possibly play with Lionel Messi in the near future.
According to Ronaldo, they could “sell a lot of shirts” for whatever club they teamed up at.
The 37-year-old stated this in the concluding part of his interview with Piers Morgan.
With Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford uncertain, and Messi in the final year of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, the next step in both players’ careers has been discussed in the media over recent months.
In fact, recently both superstars were linked with a move to Inter Miami, the MLS franchise that David Beckham co-owns and who are managed by Phil Neville.
It is widely expected that United will tear up Ronaldo’s contract before the January transfer window.
