Reflecting on his relationship with his ex-wife, Opeyemi, Freeze admitted that he would not have married her “if she were not pregnant.”
“We had no reason to get married because we were both very young and immature. I was 24, and she was 22 when we tied the knot. She was pregnant. If she hadn’t been pregnant, I doubt we would have gotten married,” he explained.
“Thus, pregnancy was a key factor that influenced our marriage,” he added.
Discussing the divorce, Daddy Freeze accused Opeyemi of preventing him from seeing their children. “It has been almost ten years,” he claimed.
“Both my ex-wife and I are quite stubborn. She refuses to listen, and I do as well. We were two damaged individuals in a relationship. My only regret is that the marriage didn’t work. Can I see or even talk to my kids on the phone? They’re living overseas. I tried to reach out, but I don’t want to invade their space.
