Nollywood actress Uche Montana has refuted the rumors circulating that she was involved in the alleged drug crisis concerning actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Montana, in a statement posted on her Instagram page on Monday, addressed the accusations shortly after Nwoko, in a detailed Facebook post, named Regina’s close friends and relatives, including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana, as supposedly undermining his wife’s rehabilitation process.

Nwoko claimed that the individuals mentioned repeatedly disregarded doctors’ orders to limit access to Regina during her therapy and would “bring her the same drugs she was being treated for.”

In response to the allegation, Montana stated, “My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that seems to associate my name with certain claims.

“To clarify, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and maintain my peace.”

Her response comes as the controversy surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage to Nwoko continues to escalate.

Recall that two weeks prior, Regina had claimed in a viral video that she was a victim of domestic abuse, referring to herself as a “slave” in her husband’s household.

In contrast, Nwoko dismissed the allegations, asserting that his wife was struggling with “drug and alcohol addiction” and accusing her of physically assaulting domestic staff.
