Akira was seconds away from flashing the entire audience and viewers at home as he kept his modest hidden using a series of plates featuring the judges faces.

He also opted to use a variety of other props in order not to show too much skin but it left little to be desired among fans at home.

Many viewers of the programme were left insisting that he should not have been allowed to perform with many insisting that the broadcasting regulator would be receiving complaints about the performance.

One wrote online: “Expecting some Ofcom complaints.”

Another added: “Ofcom's gonna be busy tonight.”

As a third penned: “I guarantee some saddos will complain to Ofcom about Akira.”

Other fans were left unhappy with the act as they said: “How was this Akira guy's act allowed on TV?”

Before someone else simply stated: “Disgusting filth.”
