JUST TYPICAL (8.11 Chepstow, nap)
He seemed to enjoy returning to turf when running a promising fourth at Newmarket 12 days ago. He was bang in contention there until the closing yards over the mile and dropping back to seven furlongs looks a wise move. He won five times last year and has dropped to just 1lb higher than the most recent of those victories. He likes decent ground and should go close.
WATERFORD CASTLE (3.45 Yarmouth, nb)
Acquitted himself well when seventh at Royal Ascot last time and should find this a lot easier. He comes back to his best trip here too and looks ready to strike.
FINN IRONSIDE (8.55 Kempton, treble)
Went close at Doncaster three runs back and hasn’t had much luck on both runs since. He’s down the weights and this looks an excellent chance.
CLASSY CLARETS (2.00 Catterick)
Completes the Lucky 15 after another battling win at Musselburgh last time.
