Horse racing tips: ‘She loves cut in the ground and this race suits’ – Templegate’s Monday NAP

Published on June 15, 2025 at 10:59 PM

IT’S ROYAL Ascot eve and Templegate is confident of building the bank for one of the biggest weeks of the year.

Back a horse by clicking their odds below.

CATTON LADY (3.45 Carlisle, nap)

She has tumbled down the weights for Mick and David Easterby and still looked rusty at Ripon last time. Her last visit to Cumbria saw her finish a close third in a stronger race than this and she loves cut in the ground which is a certainty today.

ROMANOVICH (3.30 Chepstow, nb)

Got his act together to score over seven furlongs here last time. He’s proven over this longer trip too and a 4lb rise in the weights looks more than fair.

BRETTON WOOD (6.00 Windsor, treble)

Has the benefit of Oisin Murphy in the saddle and went close on turf at Lingfield 13 days ago. He has enough pace for this trip and will be right there.

RIVER KING (7.00 Windsor)

Completes the Lucky 15. He has yet to finish out of the frame with his best efforts coming on turf. He looks to be crying out for this step up in distance.
