Rosie, who runs the @rosiescosyhome account, said that the “tiny detail” had made her lounge look
She shared how she used which is a curved or concave moulding used to decorate the area between the wall and the ceiling.
Rosie said the first step is to attach your curtain rail or pole to the ceiling or wall – and then put your coving in front of it.
She left 25cm of space, but advised you to “make sure you leave a big enough gap for your style of curtain.”
She continued: “We used sculpted from Screwfix made from polyurethane.”
“We used long pieces of timber and fixed them to the ceiling using L brackets.”
“Then you just fit your coving over the top like you would to the wall.”
After showing her hung curtains, she showed how the finished look appeared “elegant” and “expensive.”
Rosie recommended: “Try this and you won’t be disappointed.”
Thankfully, the handy decor trick doesn’t need to break the bank.

Nick Knowles on the benefits of coving
ACCORDING to TV host Nick, a simple but effective way to make your home look great is through coving.
But don’t worry, you won’t need to splash the cash on coving, as Nick explained how to do it yourself.
He said: “It can cost £300 a day for a specialist to install coving but you can do it yourself for a fraction of that.
“A pack of six two-metre lengths from a hardware retailer costs around £26-62.
“Check out online tutorials for instructions and with some basic tools and adhesive, and you can give your room some va-va-voom in no time and for less.”
