However, Holly did not take the criticism silently and took to her social media to question why trolls were criticizing her gift choices, asking: “What do you expect me to buy for a two-year-old?”
The reality star had previously shared that she bought her son a black and yellow quad bike, which she referred to as Alpha-Jax’s “main present.”
She expressed her delight with the purchase in the video, as yellow is his “favorite color in the world,” and she was confident he would adore it.
In addition to the big gift, she also got Alpha-Jax a set of magnetic letters.
Unfortunately, her excitement about the chosen gifts was not shared by everyone who viewed her enthusiastic TikToks.
Some users began criticizing her for the gifts she selected for her little one.
One user in particular made a comment that really made Holly think when he criticized the £40 quad bike, suggesting the purchase was cheap.
In the comments section, he wrote: “Main present hahah he be gutted pure bairn.”
This comment seemed to strike a nerve with Holly, who responded to the user with a video.
Overlaying his comment on her latest video, she replied: “Are we living on the same planet?
“Because I am so confused about what people expect a two-year-old to receive for Christmas?”
The influencer continued: “Keep in mind he opened a box of magnetic letters first.
“He would have happily played with that all day if that had been his only gift.
“I can assure you he wouldn’t have been upset because he’s [two years old]. Like, what? What do you expect me to buy for a two-year-old?”
The star emphasized that her child was “absolutely over the moon” with the toy quad bike and reiterated that he is simply too young to be disappointed by gift choices.

Viewers appeared to be equally baffled by the criticism directed at Holly, with many expressing their confusion in the comments.

Another commented: “But if you had filled your room with gifts, you’d have been criticized for that. You can’t win either way.”
A third user added: “It’s because you’re seen as a public figure, and people think you need to spend thousands.
“If you weren’t publicly known, they wouldn’t have said anything.”
The unfair jibes came at a challenging time for Holly, who revealed her loss in October.
