So I wanted to approach this properly. I analysed booking data to identify the that come out cheapest for single parents, ranking them by how far below the average single-parent booking they sit.
Then I sense-checked them: reading , looking at layouts, and
considering whether they genuinely work when you are the only adult in charge.

is straightforward, and that counts for a lot. English is widely spoken, it’s easy to get around, and even the plugs are the same as the UK, which saves hunting for adaptors.

How to pick a hotel for a single-parent holiday:
When you step back and look at the data – pricing, bookings, – the pattern is clear.
- Apartments tend to be cheaper than big-name .
- Central, walkable locations make life easier than remote .
- Flexibility usually matters more than flashy extras.
