HELEN Flanagan has announced that she is eager to make a comeback to Coronation Street seven years after her last appearance on the show.
The actress, now 35, gained fame as Rosie Webster starting at the age of 10, portraying the rebellious character from 2000 until 2012.

She made a return to the series in 2017, two years after welcoming her eldest child, Matilda, but departed again the following year.
While her exit coincided with her maternity leave, Helen expressed a desire to explore other opportunities and felt disenchanted with her character’s ‘b***y’ persona.
Since then, she has been busy with reality TV and modeling, but she is eager to return to acting on television.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, she stated: “I would love to go back, but they haven’t reached out to me, and I live just around the corner.”
“I would definitely return if they asked me. It seems they just haven’t reached out.”
Helen is currently occupied with preparing her lines for the pantomime season, where she will portray The Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Liverpool‘s M&S Bank Arena.
Her three children—Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four—along with her parents, will be in the audience, as they actively assist with childcare while single mother Helen is working.
“It should be a lot of fun,” Helen shared.
“The kids will enjoy watching me perform, which will keep me busy since I am not with their father.”
“He lives in Somerset while I reside in Lancashire. The distance makes it quite challenging with three young kids.”
She added: “I dislike calling it co-parenting because I don’t feel like a co-parent, to be honest.”
Helen ended her relationship with her footballer ex-fiancé in 2022 after 13 years together.
She relies heavily on her parents, who live just 15 minutes away, for childcare support, admitting she would “struggle greatly” without their assistance.
“I have my children most of the time,” she remarked. “Which I wouldn’t change for the world. I work nearly every day.”
“I’m constantly traveling back and forth from London, like a yo-yo. My mum is incredible. She really helps me raise my children. I feel very fortunate to have that support.”

Helen defended her reality television and modeling careers, asserting that they do not diminish her talent as an actress.
Since her last appearance on the soap seven years ago, Helen has participated in I’m A Celebrity… South Africa and recently completed filming for Celebrity Ex on the Beach.
