ACTRESS Helen Flanagan has opened up about missing her children while they’re with their dad – Scott Sinclair – over the Easter holidays.
– who is currently playing Princess Jill in a Mother Goose panto tour – has admitted she does ‘what’s right for the kids’, despite her views on her ex Scott.

Posting a video on Stories, revealed how she navigates split-parenting pain.
Dressed up in character, shared: “I am princess Jill today. I’m really, really loving this tour so much.
“I miss my kids today. I’ve been away from them now for about a week as they are at their daddy’s for Easter.
“I definitely don’t think it gets easier sharing your children, it really doesn’t, but there’s so many of us that are in these situations and it can be really tricky.”
She advised: “I have to get myself into a different zone where I almost have to go into the mindset of just being really strong; I signed up to this, I need to work – and also, what is best for them?
“Right now, to spend Easter day with mummy wouldn’t be better for them.
“I’m not saying this right, but it would be better for them to be with their dad – who’s got a house in the countryside – and they will be with their cousins today.
“That would be a better environment for them than be in and out of hotels and go off to today, because I’m doing this tour.
“So that’s how I try and do it in my head. But, of course, I miss them.
“I’ve not seen them for a week and then when I finish this, I think I’ll have another week.
“And it almost feels quite unnatural when you’re a mum, but how I try and do it is…
“Regardless of my relationship with their dad, I have always, always, always encouraged a relationship with the father of my children, because I think it’s good for my children.
“I think it’s good for their minds and to feel loved. I’ve always encouraged that.
“So I think how I kind of separate it in my head is thinking, Well, what is best for the children? – and run with that.
“ I think there’s so many others that are in positions now where we’re sharing children.
“Whether we’re not together, with the mother or father of your children.
“I just thought I would share because sometimes it is not easy.”
The Rosie Webster actress, 35, split with ex-fiancé Scott after 13 years together.
The former couple share three children Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven and Charlie, four.
Despite their long-term relationship and kids, the former couple never married.
The talented star has finally sold the family home for a whopping £500,000 under the asking price.
The actress moved into the six-bedroom home with her ex-fiancé back in 2021.
