THE Heat contestant broke down in tears after their shock axe from the series – and accused the show’s head honcho of making a mistake.
The cooking competition began on last week and sees a batch of aspiring chefs run a restaurant in under the watchful eye of Star chef.

Each contestant must battle it out during each service, with one person being eliminated at the end of the episode.
Yet fans have taken issue with the conclusion of episode eight, which saw promising chef Priya given the boot.
She took the buck after Jean-Christophe gave her the title of head chef during the episode – with her taking the hit for leading the group’s efforts.
He told how he was “so sorry” to evict her after she struggled to send out the finished dishes, before she burst into tears.
Priya’s co-stars told her “don’t cry, stay strong you got this,” while the foodie said: “Priya you are fabulous come here, let’s keep in touch yeah?”
He added: “Listen you were clearly not ready today.
“That energy should be re-transferred back to your cooking”.
As she took things on the chin she simply replied: “Yes chef”.
In her interview to camera she brushed back tears and said: “I am disappointed obviously.
“I have to accept what it is but no one backed me.
“In the kitchen, I think I am stronger than a lot of people and I think Alex W is very lucky that he got to stay.
‘I guess you have to go through things like this to make you more and more driven to succeed.
“Onwards and upwards”.
Fans of the show took to X to complain about the outcome.
One wrote: “Not really fair on Priya, she can’t send out food that isn’t ready”.
Another posted: “Priya don’t deserve to go home at all… chef Jean-Christophe what are you doing?
“Djordje he mess up every day .. an is still there… why??”
The show hasn’t been a smooth ride since its debut.
A recent instalment of The Heat saw filming halted after and “couldn’t breathe”.
The Heat got too much for front of house team member Helina, who began to feel unwell.
As she complained about feeling light-headed, her colleague Seren told her to sit down and drink some water.
Diners were also after a series of mishaps.
The Heat airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2, with episodes dropping each morning on ITVX
