Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has identified Portugal's captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, as his role model in football.
Mbappe mentioned that Ronaldo offers him guidance, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to converse with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player noted that the 40-year-old helps him improve as a player.
“Cristiano Ronaldo has always been my role model, a true example for me,” the France captain shared with Movistar.
“I feel fortunate to speak with him; he provides me with advice and support… he is the best.
“He is the benchmark for Real Madrid. People continue to dream of and discuss Cristiano to this day.”
Ronaldo previously played for Real Madrid and secured numerous trophies with the club, including the UEFA Champions League.
