‘He didn’t speak English well’ – Ronaldo opens up on his relationship with Messi

Football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, has opened up on his relationship with Argentine and Inter Miami superstar Lionel Messi.
Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have remained the most mentioned names in football for the last 15 years.

They have dominated the game, dwarfed every other players and shared 13 Ballons d’Or amongst themselves.

At the ages of 40 and 39 respectively, the two football icons remain the highest earners in the game and sports in general.

Portugal will face Spain in the final of the UEFA Europe Nations League on Sunday and Ronaldo spoke on a couple of issues ahead of the game.

As reported by Alfremartinezz and quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo said that Messi does not speak good English, adding that he had once served as the former Barça captain’s translator.

Ronaldo said that they both respect eachother, adding Messi always treats him well.

He said, “Of course I have affection for Leo Messi. We’ve been on stage together for 15 years.

“I remember translating English for him at the Galas because he didn’t speak English well. He always treated me well and respected me.”;
