HARRY KANE made English history in the Champions League during Bayern Munich’s hammering of Atalanta.
The striker netted a brace in the 4-1 win over the Italian side as eased into the quarter-finals.

The giants already had one foot in the next round after their 6-1 dismantling of Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium.
, 32, opened his scoring on the night from the spot before slamming his second into the top corner.
The captain’s second goal was his 50th in the competition in his career.
The milestone had never been reached by an Englishman before the former ace.
Kane was already the leading Englishman in the history of the .
He had surpassed the likes of (30 goals) and (27 goals) since his move to Bayern in 2024.
Kane has reached the landmark in just 66 games and overtaken the likes of and Andriy Shevchenko.
He has also drawn level with legend who hit 50 goals in 112 tournament appearances.
However, Kane was not the only player to make their half-century on Wednesday evening.
Liverpool star also reached the milestone just minutes after Kane.
He scored the Reds’ fourth goal in the 4-0 win over at Anfield.
Kane hailed his achievement on social media after full-time at the Allianz Arena.
He wrote: “Quarter finals here we come! Top night at the Allianz.
“On a personal note really proud to have scored 50 Champions League goals.
“Thanks to all my teammates over the years for helping me achieve this – here’s to more.”
He also insisted that his 50th goal was one of his favourite goals he has scored in his career.
The striker turned two defenders at the same time at the top of the box before rifling his effort into the top corner.
He told Dazn: “One of my favourite in my career the way it panned out.
“They way I moved and a mixture of all my techniques and for it to come off like that is pretty special.”
The milestone is the latest hit by Kane during his remarkable campaign for the Bavarian side.
In just 39 appearances in all competitions he has alreadyy scored 47 GOALS.
