THIS is the harrowing moment a man appears to ask for a photo to be taken with a tiger just minutes before a horrifying attack took place.

Cops and emergency services scrambled to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster, just after 1.30pm on Saturday

The hero keepers managed to into the air causing him to retreat to a nearby shelter.

The big cat was then quickly secured but tragically the man was later declared dead at the scene.

Now, an eerie video has emerged from visitors at the zoo moments before the tragic scene on the weekend.

It appears that the voice of the as-yet-unidentified man can be heard asking people to take a photo of him with the tiger before the incident.

Footage shows the tiger lounging around on the grass in a peaceful manner as a man is heard talking in the background.

as visitors watched the tiger below, we previously revealed.

The alleged audio of the interaction was captured by her partner who was taking a video at the same time.

The man, believed to be in his early 20s, is heard asking: “Can you grab a shot of myself with the tiger?”

She took the man’s phone and he posed with the five-year-old off-camera in the background.

In video footage taken by her partner, the man – who is believed to be the victim – can then be heard laughing as he excitedly pleads: “One more, one more, one more.”

He then says: “Thank you, lady.”

It is thought that the victim then leapt from a viewing platform moments after the video was captured before big cat Altai dragged him away.

The man has not yet been identified and it is not known why he entered the enclosure.

Ms Taylor told The Sun: “He was completely alone. At first he was dancing on the bridge overlooking the enclosure. He ended up standing next to me.

“My partner was recording the and you can hear me having this interaction.

“You can hear him asking for a photo. I took a couple of him with his back towards the enclosure.”

Black screens were put up around the visitors’ path to prevent people from seeing the grisly scene as the park was evacuated.

An air ambulance was spotted circling before landing close to the “Land of the Tigers” enclosure.

It is surrounded by a five-metre-high fence. A viewing platform sat atop the fence at one corner has a metre-high “stand-off” fence, which it is thought the man climbed over.

However, there was some positive news as Yorkshire Wildlife Park confirmed in an update on Sunday that Altai is “safe and well”.

“Many, many people have contacted us about Altai, the tiger.

“We can reassure everyone that he is safe and well and will not be euthanised as a result of this incident.”

The park was shut for the remainder of the weekend yesterday.

This morning, Yorkshire Wildlife Park confirmed it will remain closed today as investigations continue into the death of the man.

In a message sent to ticketholders on Monday morning, the park said: “Due to the serious incident that occurred at Yorkshire Wildlife Park on Saturday, the 10th of October, unfortunately the park remains closed for the whole of Monday, the 12th October.

“Anyone with a booking for this date will be contacted within the next five working days with details of how to reschedule your booking.
