Key players

Haiti – Wilson Isidor

The striker was born in France, but switched allegiances to Haiti in March – he qualifies to represent the Caribbean nation through his grandfather.

He moved to the Black Cats in 2024, helping them achieve promotion to the and then qualify for Europa League this season.

After playing at the top level of English football, he provides experience and leadership as well as being a threat in front of goal.

Scotland – John McGinn & Scott McTominay

McGinn has captained Aston Villa to their first European trophy in 44 years this season, over Freiburg.

He has been integral for ‘s side, providing ten goals and seven assists in all competitions.

McTominay has been outstanding at since his move from Manchester United in 2024, winning Serie A’s player of the season in his maiden campaign on route to winning the Scudetto.
