WHETHER it’s plucking our eyebrows to the max or wearing a blinding highlighter, there are many past trends we wished we never jumped on.

Now one woman, Harriet Glover, has dropped an epic throwback sharing snaps of herself from 2015 – and the iconic hairdo has left everyone in stitches.

According to the woman, she was inspired by ‘s legendary pixie cut, which singer, now 36, rocked around 2010.

In fact, the What About Us singer told Hello! magazine that the iconic sweeping fringe is probably her “favourite hair look”.

“Although I feel that since this cut I’ve had looks that suit me better, this is the one that holds the most memories for me,” she old the publication.

“It’s the style that made me stand out from the crowd, at a time when not many women were rocking .

“It’s the cut that so many people still come and tell me they tried after seeing mine.

“Some loved it and some regretted it, but they’re all glad they tried it.”

The star continued: “I love that I encouraged girls to be brave enough to take the chop, and made them realise that long hair is not the only way to feel sexy, confident or feminine.”

Indeed, the signature hairdo really did inspire many to follow suit, including the TikToker who rocked a mega quiff teamed with a sweeping fringe across her forehead.

To keep the dark mane intact and flawless throughout the day, the TikToker revealed she swore by Got2b – “always”.

But after sporting the grand look for a while, Harriet was advised by someone to ditch the short tresses – and now, she’s more grateful than ever.

“In 2015, someone is going to suggest you grow your hair out. It’s important you listen to that person,” she said in the now-viral video .

It’s been a decade since the TikToker heard these words – fast-forward to 2025 and Harriet looks totally unrecognisable, with that would make anyone green with envy.

Uploaded just three days ago under the username @ harrietglover31 , the video has taken the internet by storm, racking up close to an astronomical 2million views and hundreds of comments.

Rush hair expert reveals how to repair damaged hair

TINA Farey, Editorial director at Rush Hair, shares her advice…

HOW TO RESTORE DAMAGED HAIR

Whilst you can’t fully reserve the effects of damaged hair, you can stop the problem from growing.

Depending on the condition of your hair, I’d recommend getting a trim every six to eight weeks – this will prevent any split ends from travelling further up the hair shaft, which weakens the hair’s overall structure and leads to more breakage.

Even just an inch of the ends will completely transform the appearance of your hair – trust me.

When it comes to products to help restore damaged hair, Goldwell’s Rich Repair Treatment Mask is a firm favourite – strengthening damaged locks to be healthy and shiny once again.

HOW TO PREVENT DAMAGE

My number one tip is to always use a heat protectant – even if you’re only blow-drying your hair.

Consistent heat styling without one will leave your hair open to heat damage.

I’d also recommend refraining from over-washing your hair as this can strip the hair of its natural oils – nobody wants a dry and irritated scalp!

And finally, swap your sleek, slick back for a hair down day!

They may be in fashion at the moment, but over time all that tension on your strands from being pulled will wreak havoc on your hair follicles – this could lead to thinning and bald spots in areas where the hair is constantly pulled.

But while the 2025 bride looked fabulous with her new look, it was her Frankie Bridge era that made the clip go viral.

One person was in hysterics, joking: “Make way for the kings guard.”

Another was lost for words, writing: “The sheer height on that hair girl, honestly impressive.”

“It’s like you wanted to speak to the manager of the ,” someone else thought Harriet was in full Karen mode.

“It’s giving I fear,” a fourth compared the TikToker to the former X Factor star, now 32, whilst another thought the sweeping fringe was ‘“millennials’ biggest mistake”.
