AXED MasterChef star Gregg Wallace has revealed that he is selling off his £1m Kent mansion in order to gain ‘financial stability’.
The TV star has largely been out of work since losing his lucrative contract after being sacked by the BBC amid an investigation into his conduct on the programme.

Gregg , 61, has attempted to carve out a career on since his TV axing but has now admitted that he is planning to get rid of his million-pound house and “downsize” in a bid to keep financial security for his wife and son, Sid, who has additional special needs.
Speaking in a new social media video, Gregg suggested he was also after a slower-pace of life, which corresponded with the house move.
Gregg said to his followers: “I can’t have the life I used to have but whether you chose to believe it or not, I really wanted to come out of it anyway.
“Now I’ve got some choices and I am sure I am not alone in this.
“I want to ease off a little bit, I want to relax a little bit.
“That also comes with wanting financial security for me and my family because I’ve got a wife that is much younger than me and a special needs little boy, Sid.”
Gregg went on to say: “I want to make sure I can have a certain lifestyle and that I leave a legacy for my family.
“That’s not easy to do.
“So my plan is to sell this enormous house and buy a more modest house.
“I’ll work less and possibly spend half of the year in Italy making adventures for my family because we love Italy.”
Gregg also discussed how his future could see him “home-schooling” his young son too.
Earlier this month, by launching a new TikTok cookalong livestream event.
Gregg, in July 2025 after dozens of people came forward accusing him of inappropriate behaviour and bullying.
He hosted a 12-hour live show titled Gregg’s Kitchen on the app on Easter Sunday.
His new career attempts come after Gregg faced a slew of complaints about his behaviour on the popular show, including some from celeb contestants.
