THE Great British Bake Off is back for another helping as 12 new bakers enter the famous tent.
Series 17 is under way on Channel 4, with joining Paul Hollywood at the judges’ table.
When does the Great British Bake Off 2026 finish?
Series 17 of the consists of 10 episodes that air weekly on Tuesday nights.
So the Grand Final should fall on Tuesday, November 24, provided there are no changes to the schedule.
As usual, the competition starts with before contestants are gradually eliminated until three remain to battle it out in the Final.
Cake Week was the theme of the opening instalment, with the bakers facing their first Signature, Technical and Showstopper challenges of the series.
What is the Great British Bake Off 2026 episode schedule?
The first three themes have been revealed, with Cake Week followed by two favourites – Biscuit Week and then Bread Week.
This year’s episode schedule is as follows:

Bake Off is expected to continue in its regular 8pm Tuesday slot, although Channel 4 is yet to confirm the airtime for every instalment or the themes for all of the episodes.
Episodes are available through Channel 4’s streaming service as they air, or they can be watched on demand afterwards.
Fans can also tuck into a new companion programme, , hosted by and favourite .
The spin-off airs on Tuesday nights after the main programme and looks back at the biggest moments and best bakes from that week’s episode.
Who are the Great British Bake Off 2026 judges and presenters?

Back in January, Nigella was announced as the , who left the show after nine series and over 400 challenges.
Nigella admitted it would be “daunting” to follow Prue and original judge , but also said she was “bubbling with excitement”.
She added: “The Great British Bake Off is more than a television programme, it’s a National Treasure – and it’s a huge honour to be entrusted with it.”
Paul has been a judge on every main series of the culinary competition since Bake Off launched in 2010.
Meanwhile, returns for her fourth series as a presenter after joining in 2023.
She will once again host alongside , who has been part of the show since 2017, when it moved over to Channel 4.
