GRAHAM Norton has revealed the future of his smash hit BBC chat show after admitting he was “bored” of the series.

The superstar host, 62, is known for , and has had everyone on his show from rock stars to ‘s elite.

The TV star has now revealed The Graham Norton Show has been green lit by the for a further three more series, which will kick off with season 34 in the autumn.

revealed how is feeling happier with his chat show after a change in his filming schedule prevented him from “getting bored”.

The star now enjoys every series run throughout after switching to a longer six-month break between each season.

Graham’s current 33rd series started in September last year, with 15 episodes broadcast so far.

The run is due to finish at the end of February – but he has revealed he’s not feeling tired of his show, just yet.

Speaking about the future of The Graham Norton Show, the host told his Wanging On podcast: “We signed a thing saying three more.”

He then joked: “They’ll have to get rid of those steps on to the stage – just a little ramp, a low ramp to get me up there, and I’ll have those shows with a wheel on the heel and I can just scooch on to the stage and go ‘Hello, welcome’. The guests will introduce themselves.”

Speaking about the filming schedule shake-up, Graham said: “I used to do a thing where we’d end in February and then we’d have a few weeks off, and then we’d come back for eight weeks in April May.

“And about five or six years ago I got rid of that bit.”

Revealing how this change had stopped him getting “bored” with the show, Graham added: “And now it’s lovely, so we’re on for about half the year, off for about half a year.

“And it means by the end of February I’m still really enjoying it, I’m not bored with it and then I kind of miss it because and I’ll be looking forward to coming back at the end of September.”

Asked what’s been his favourite part of the current season had been so far, the host said: “Do you know the biggest surprise to me all season was, one I’m still alive, but also , who I had a very different impression of her before I met her – just that she was a reality person who was famous for no reason.

“She is very driven, very ambitious and has a kind of talent for that – a talent for building a brand.”

Graham also said he has been invited to previous guest but he couldn’t talk about it because he had to sign a non-disclosure agreement – apart from saying he will be taking his husband, filmmaker Jonathan McLeod.

When the last October she had jokingly invited him to her big day, but she later went on to make the invite real.

The Graham Norton Show launched on in 2007 where it ran for two series before moving to where it’s remained ever since.

Along the way, Graham’s picked up multiple awards including TV Awards, National Television Awards, British Comedy Awards, RTS Television Awards and many more.

The show is known for attracting HUGE A-listers, but it appears not everyone is welcome.

Speaking again on his Wanging On podcast, he said: “There are people, in my heart, I believe will never be on the show again because they were awful.”
