tvN’s upcoming drama “Second Shot at Love”;; has dropped new stills featuring Gong Myoung and Sooyoung!
“Second Shot at Love”;; is a rom-com starring Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung as Han Geum Ju, a self-proclaimed “reasonable drinker”;; who unexpectedly reunites with her first love Seo Ui Jun (Gong Myoung)—a man who despises alcohol—and decides to take on the challenge of quitting drinking.
Han Geum Ju is a veteran auto mechanic with 10 years of experience in Seoul. After an unexpected incident, she steps away from city life and returns to her hometown of Bocheon. Known for her skills both on the job and in social settings, her sudden decision to return home raises questions about what caused the change.
Meanwhile, Seo Ui Jun, who worked at a major hospital in Seoul, returns to Bocheon to take on the role of director at the Bocheon Health Center. With his calm and kind demeanor, Seo Ui Jun is warmly welcomed by the community and is adjusting smoothly to life in the countryside.
Han Geum Ju and Seo Ui Jun return to their hometown, each carrying their own burdens. Once close friends in high school, they would often share drinks and confide in each other. Over time, they drifted apart, living separate lives for many years. Now, reunited in the same village, old feelings between them begin to resurface.
The newly released still shows Han Geum Ju and Seo Ui Jun standing across from each other in a narrow street of their hometown. They exchange no words, but a tense silence hangs between them, raising questions about what led to their separation.
“Second Shot at Love”;; is set to premiere on May 12 at 8:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
