A GIRLS Aloud star cancelled an upcoming Manchester gig with hours to spare – as a pop band stepped in ‘at the 11th hour’.

Taking to Instagram, Manchester Village Pride confirmed Nadine, 41, has stepped down from the gig due to illness.

The organisers also said they were “beyond thrilled” that pop group B*WITCHED “are stepping in at the eleventh hour.”

A statement from Nadine’s team read: “Nadine is so sorry to have to step out of Manchester Village Pride this year.

“It was her very first pride many years ago and she loves getting to spend time with you all.

“Nadine’s voice has been under the weather and she only wants to give absolute best to you all.

“Which sadly won’t be possible as she needs time to rest and recuperate.”
