TWO 14-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of raping a girl outside a school.
The 12-year-old was allegedly attacked in a field in Dorchester, , at around 7.45pm on Sunday.
held two teen boys on suspicion of rape but they have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers believe the girl had met the two suspects earlier in the day.
She is being supported by specially trained officers while the investigation continues.
A cordon remains in place while searches of the area are carried out.
Neighbourhood Inspector Sam Goom, of Dorset Police, said: “We take reports of sexual offences very seriously and my colleagues have been carrying out extensive enquiries into the incident in recent days while supporting the victim.
“You will see an enhanced police presence around the playing fields as officers maximise their efforts to recover evidence, please do not be alarmed by this.
“Your local neighbourhood officers will also be in the places and spaces surrounding the investigation.
“We recognise that this incident will cause concern within the community and we would like to encourage everyone to please approach the officers if you have any queries or concerns.”;;
