GERWYN PRICE admits he “couldn’t be arsed” to get on stage as distractions away from darts continue to affect his form.
The World No7 laid bare his struggles after beating Brayden Hall 6-4 to reach the quarter-finals of the US Masters in New York.

, 41, has recently bought acres of farmland in and plans to eventually live there with his wife, two daughters and a collection of domesticated animals.
But Price admitted the project has left his focus split between home and the oche.
He said: “I don’t know what it was. In my words, I just couldn’t be arsed to get up there.
“I had a funny feeling. I would just rather be in the house, which is weird.
“I never think about my opponent.
“I just concentrate on my own game, but for the last couple of months I just haven’t been mentally with it and have been going through the motions.
“Get the farm finished. I have things going on at home that are distracting me a little bit.
“As soon as things go to plan there and things start moving.
“Sometimes a good distraction can keep you away from darts a little bit, but I have a little bit too much going on at the moment.
“Too many distractions and, when I am away, I don’t want to be away. I want to be home and for things to be happening around the farm and the planning I have going on.
“So, when I turn up, I can’t be bothered here and it shouldn’t be that way.”
With the World Matchplay just a few weeks away, Price hopes to rediscover the focus that helped him make such a strong start to the year.
He added: “I hope it does, but the Matchplay is only three or four weeks away.
“It’s definitely not. The planning has only just gone in and it is a little bit frustrating.
“I won’t go too deep into that, but my mind isn’t where it needs to be at the minute.
“Where it was at the beginning of the Premier League, I was fully focused.
“I need to try and get my focus fully back on darts.”
The Iceman will face on Friday night for a place in the semi-final at Madison Square Garden.
