SHE stood by her man as a sexting scandal wrecked his high-flying career as a top F1 boss and threatened to destroy their “perfect” marriage.

But ’s rock solid support for millionaire motor racing tycoon steered him through the darkest days of his life.

And the power couple are now roaring back into the career fast lane after Horner was vindicated by

Sun sources reveal today that loyal Geri, 54, is now the former Red Bull Racing boss’s “sounding board” as he plots a return to the F1 pit lane in a new role.

And Geri is also bouncing back after landing a major acting role in big budget whodunnit series Only Murders in the Building alongside a galaxy of A-List stars.

It’s more than two years since F1 team principal Horner’s stellar career hit the skids and thrust his high profile marriage into the spotlight.

An attractive close aide of the first hit him with bombshell claims of “inappropriate, controlling behaviour” in December 2023.

But the scandal went nuclear in February 2024 when a “sext bomb” of hundreds of embarrassing messages between the woman and her married boss were .

Horner, 52, was cleared of misconduct in a barrister-led investigation and his accuser was suspended over “inconsistencies” in the account she gave to the probe.

Humiliated Geri was said to have been left in tears as her nine-year-marriage was plunged into crisis as her husband battled to save his £10 million-a-year jetset job.

But an insider has told The Sun that she never once contemplated ending their marriage.

And she instead mustered every ounce of her famous Girl Power to support him, both emotionally and professionally.

The strain was obvious as Geri made her position clear with public shows of affection in the paddock at Grand Prix races in and

The F1 boss said at the time: “My wife has been phenomenally supportive throughout this as have my family.

“It’s obviously been a very trying period. I’m married and have three children.”

The Sun’s source said: “It was a dreadful time for Geri but she made it clear she was standing by Christian and never wavered.

“She said she was in an impossible situation because she knew she would get mocked for supporting her husband in public – and accused of ending their marriage if she didn’t.

“Geri is a confident woman who’s used to the limelight but found herself being tested to the limit by the attention and scrutiny.

“But her first focus was always on supporting the man she loves and protecting her family.”

Christian and Geri enjoy an idyllic lifestyle and treasure time spent with their “blended” family on their stunning £9 million country estate in Marston St Lawrence near Banbury, Oxfordshire

They share their son Monty, nine, with Geri’s daughter Bluebell, 20, from her previous relationship with filmmaker Sacha Gervasi and Christian’s daughter Olivia, 12, from his relationship with ex-partner Beverley Allen.

Fallout from the scandal turned the couple’s gilded life upside down – at a time when Christian was already dealing with an impending tragedy.

His ex Beverley had been diagnosed with ocular melanoma – eye cancer – and entered the terminal phase of the illness before her death in the summer of last year.

The source said: “All the focus was the so-called and Geri’s public support for Christian in the F1 paddock but there was a lot more anguish in the background.

“He was still very close to Beverley and they had successfully co-parented for years and her illness and death piled even more pressure on him, and Geri.

“The whole scandal was rolling on and he was enduring personal attacks on his character and reputation while having to deal with an even bigger crisis at home.

“Having to comfort a little girl who had lost her mother put his own troubles into perspective.”

Master F1 tactician Horner founded the Red Bull team in 2005, landing an incredible eight drivers’ championship and six constructors’ championship titles in the years that followed.

But cracks began to appear in his relationship with the drinks company’s Austrian corporate arm led by CEO Oliver Mintzlaff and adviser Helmut Marko.

Star driver Max Verstappen’s dad Jos was also at the heart of the feud after the sexting scandal widened the fissures between the warring factions.

Horner, who had a contract until 2030, was finally forced out of the job he loved by a run of poor race results as his once-all-conquering team stalled.

But his exit last July was cushioned by a huge £80 million – one of the biggest in the history of sport.

And the pit lane genius and renowned go-getter Geri have been busy for the past year recharging their power couple status.

Horner is part of a consortium currently locked in talks negotiating a 24 pr cent minority stake in the Alpine F1 team to get him back in business in the paddock.

Alpine and Renault executive advisor Flavio Briatore has publicly confirmed that Horner’s group is in preliminary talks which could conclude later this month.

Ambitious, newly enriched multi-millionaire Horner is also branching into the glamorous world of elite sailing, backing Britain’s America’s Cup bid in Italy next July.

The sporting tycoon has become a “special adviser” with private equity firm Oakley Capital which is supporting Olympic sailing legend Sir Ben Ainslie’s Athena Racing team.

In addition, the workaholic’s hiatus from the pit lane has also given him time to pen his tell-all autobiography, appropriately called Drive, which is published next month.

The Sun source said: “Christian has been looking firmly to the future since he left Red Bull and there is absolutely no doubt that he’ll be back.

“He has the know-how, the track record and the determination to be a winner in whatever he does but still has his heart set on getting back into the Formula One paddock.

“He’s in talks with Alpine but won’t do a deal unless it’s right for him – and he will obviously want a say in the running of the team.

“You don’t sign a star striker then leave him on the bench.

“And Geri has been just as busy over the summer making her own plans.”

Horner’s sex text accuser – who has never been named – was axed from another motor racing job over “trust issues” last week, cementing the couple’s drive to put the past behind them.

He confided to pals that he felt “vindicated” when he learned after the woman – who cannot be named for legal reasons – lost another top job after leaving Red Bull with a £3 million payout.

The attractive blue-eyed blonde was relieved of her duties in a dramatic airport swoop ordered by her new US-based bosses as she prepared to fly out to a Grand Prix.

The Sun source said: “The circumstances of her latest departure tell their own story but Christian and Geri aren’t looking back these days. That chapter is over.”

The Spice Girls recently scrapped plans for a marking the release of their iconic debut hit Wannabe and Album Spice.

But Geri has switched her focus to acting and has spent much of the summer working with a galaxy of stars on the sixth series of the comic whodunnit caper, Only Murders in the Building.

The show – starring comedy legend Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez – has switched locations from New York to London.

And pals say Geri has loved every minute since joining the star-studded cast.

She is among a galaxy of showbiz glitterati announced for the season, including Martin Freeman, Olivia Colman, Meryl Streep, and Jennifer Saunders.

Geri’s previous credits include cameo appearances in Sex in the City and Absolutely Fabulous and an acting role in biographical sports drama Gran Turismo.

The Sun source said: “Geri and Christian have just got back from a fantastic summer holiday in Devon and are raring to go.

“Geri’s loved every minute filming the Only Murders show over the summer and enjoyed working with so many big stars.

“The trials and tribulations – and tragedy – are behind them now and they both have a hell of a lot to look forward to.

“But best of all – they’re still together with their kids and are still in love.”
