GEORGIA STANWAY has already shown her commitment to Arsenal after getting a GUNNERS TATTOO to mark her North London transfer.

Stanway, 27, has joined on a free transfer following her exit from German giants .

The midfielder has wasted no time in trying to win the fans over too, inking an Arsenal tattoo on her arm to celebrate the transfer.

Stanway has had the phrase, “whatever the weather” permanently inked on her right arm.

The tattoo is inspired by the lyrics of Arsenal anthem ‘North London Forever.’

The ace has even inked some of her teammates in the past.

Stanway was announced as a new Gunners signing on Friday, having spent four years at Bayern Munich.

She said: “It’s an unbelievable feeling and I’m so proud to be joining Arsenal.

“This is a massive club that is driving the women’s game forward to new levels and I want to be a part of it.

“I want to win trophies and grow as a player, and this is the right place to do that with the backing of an incredible fanbase.”

Stanway lifted eight trophies with the Bavarians, including four consecutive Frauen-Bundesliga titles.

Prior to her German adventure she spent seven years with , where she won the WSL title along with three FA Cups and three League Cups.

On the move, Arsenal head coach Renee Slegers said: “Georgia is a brilliant midfielder and we’re thrilled that she is an Arsenal player.

“She will add a new dimension to our midfield, bringing experience and adding to our winning mentality.

“We look forward to getting down to work in pre-season ahead of a big campaign ahead.”

Stanway, also a two-time European champion with England, will wear the No4 shirt for the Gunners.
