FANS of Geordie Shore are far from happy after two of the show’s stars have confessed that a major part of the programme is staged.
and sat down on their By The Brook Podcast this week to discuss how the MTV series’ legendary partying scenes were not quite as wild as they appeared.

Chatting to Abbie, Sophie began: “People ask, ‘how do you cope on Geordie Shore drinking for all that time?’
“So it’s not really what you think. This is, like, inside scoop.
“So you’d have a bit of a pre-drink wouldn’t you, in the house. You drink while you get ready then the taxis would come.”
Abbie then chimed in: “When I was in we would get to the club and I remember having a glass and I’d put half vodka in it.”

Laughing together, Sophie then dropped the big reveal – the gang were never partying all night, despite how it looked on camera.
“You be in the club for about an hour, an hour and a bit, because you’d do your scenes,” she admitted.
“And then you’d come back to the house and they’d [the producers] want you to stay up so you could do more filming.
“But by the time we’d get in it would be like three in the morning and we’re absolutely shattered at this point and they’d be like ‘have fun let loose’, and that’s when the food fights would happen.”
Fans hearing this were furious and felt fooled, and took to the post’s comments section to express their fury.
One user said: “Ruined it for me now.”
A second shared: “Some secrets should be kept.”
A third further expressed: “Whatttt??”
Abbie and Sophie have been close friends ever since 27-year-old Abbie joined the cast in late 2016
