Published on May 06, 2025 at 01:00 PM

Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich on Tuesday declared that Gaza will be entirely destroyed.

Smotrich said a victory for Israel in Gaza means that the Palestinian territory will be “entirely destroyed”; before its inhabitants depart for other countries.

He disclosed this while addressing a press conference in the occupied West Bank.

According to Smotrich: “Gaza will be entirely destroyed, civilians will be sent to... the south to a humanitarian zone without Hamas or terrorism, and from there they will start to leave in great numbers to third countries.”;

This comes as the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Force, IDF, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, disclosed plans to against the Hamas terror group in the Gaza Strip.

Zamir disclosed that Israel plans to conquer Gaza Strip and hold Palestinian territories.

Speaking on Sunday, Zamir, however, warned Israeli ministers that this could endanger the hostages held there.

Zamir said the plan provides for the “conquering of Gaza and retaining the territory”;.

The official said it will see the IDF take control of territory in Gaza, move the civilian population toward the south, attack Hamas while preventing the terror group from taking control of humanitarian aid.
