FANS of Gavin & Stacey were shocked to see that one of the show’s legends was selling autographs for £30 this weekend.
The actor gave fans of the sitcom the chance to come and meet him, but charged an extra fiver if they wanted a selfie.

Posting to , collectable store Critical Hit Nottingham announced that was doing a signing until 6pm on Saturday.
He played the role of Essex boy Gavin in the hit series, alongside co-lead who starred as Stacey.
The caption of the post broke down the prices, saying: “Mathew Horne is here today!

“Autograph – £30. Photo – £20. Autograph and Selfie – £35.
“Come down, meet the Gavin & Stacey and Bad Education star and grab an autograph or photo!”
Fans took to the post’s comments section to share their disbelief over the prices.
One said: “I would like to report a crime please. charging £35 to meet a z list!,” and jokingly tagged the Sussex Police Force.
A second shared: “£20 quid for an autograph??? Yeah right!”
A third added: “Seems a bit mad to change an extra fiver for a selfie.”
However others were thrilled too see the star, with another fan sharing: “Was unreal!!!!!! We absolutely loved it and well worth every penny! Such a lovely bloke and after watching him constantly for half my life it made my absolute year!!!!! X.”
A further fan praised Mathew as being a “lovely lovely guy”.
Mathew played the role of Gavin throughout the whole run of from 2007 to 2024.
The final episode of the long-running series aired on Day 2024, with 19.1 million viewers tuning in for the last instalment.
The finale turned out to be the most-watched scripted show in over two decades.
Aside from Gavin & Stacey, Matthew has appeared in many other programmes including Bad Education, Agatha Raisin and Da’s Army.
