FURIOUS Big Brother viewers have called for the show's producers to remove Caroline following her controversial remarks during last night’s nominations.
This incident occurred after housemates participated in face-to-face nominations, where they were instructed to “provide full, honest, and valid reasons for why your two fellow housemates should face eviction.”
Big Brother star Caroline shocked viewers with her sexual remarks during last night’s nominations.
She made a proposition to Tate after saving him from eviction.
Her remarks were met with gasps and awkward laughter.
Tate laughed it off, responding with ‘fair enough’.
When it was her turn, the 56-year-old stated: “Okay, I don’t really like any of you, but I’ve chosen one. This is Mr. Richard. Dicky, Dicky.
“The reason is, Dicky, you’re incredibly boring… I think you’re afraid of making a mistake because deep down there’s a bit of mischief in you that you’re hiding behind your bible.”
Later, after the nominations were revealed, Caroline was reminded of her Save and Replace token – which allows her to remove one nominee from eviction and substitute them with another housemate.
The former celebrity PR manager chose to save Tate, 27, and replace him with another contestant.
However, after saving him, she remarked: “Tate, he cooks for me, and I think maybe when we leave here, we might have sex.
“Or at least a fumble. So, I’m going to say Tate just for sexual reasons.”
Tate chuckled and replied: “Yeah, fair.”
Her comments ignited outrage online, with one viewer expressing on Reddit: “I’m sorry, but the way she suggested Tate needs to have sex with her as a reward for saving him was so inappropriate, and she should definitely receive a warning or, ideally, be ejected!”
Another remarked: “If a man had said that to a woman, the public reaction would be completely different.”
A third commenter noted: “This isn’t her first offense in this regard…”
Another viewer agreed: “I believe she should at least receive a warning.”
One more person fumed: “What about the disrespectful remarks made about Richard and Tate’s beliefs? It’s absolutely disgusting.”
Someone else stated, “Caroline should have been removed weeks ago after the Zelah incident,” referring to when she called the trans male housemate “a girl.”
They added: “ITV is essentially endorsing bigotry at this point.”
Nevertheless, some viewers defended Caroline, with one saying: “As much as I dislike her, it was a joke, and Tate responded in a humorous manner.”
Viewers were also displeased with her comments regarding Cameron.
Caroline had also taken a jab at Cameron after using the “save and replace” token to swap Tate for Zelah on the eviction list.
Claiming she chose Zelah because she wouldn’t get evicted, she commented on Cameron: “If I had picked him, I know he’d be out.”
Writing online, one viewer said: “She’s just horrible. She picks on the quieter ones; it’s total bullying behavior.”
In the Diary Room afterward, Caroline accused the other housemates of “overreacting.”
Caroline referred to Richard as her ‘nemesis’.
