LIVERPOOL make the trip to Craven Cottage for Sunday's Premier League showdown against Fulham.

Fulham vs Liverpool preview

Fulham and Liverpool go head-to-head in Sunday’s Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.

Arne Slot’s side make the 214-mile journey to west London just four days after their hard-fought Merseyside derby victory over arch-rivals Everton.

Diogo Jota’s solitary goal secured all three points for Liverpool, maintaining their 12-point cushion at the top of the table. With just eight matches remaining in the 2024-25 campaign, the Reds are firmly on course to lift the ultimate prize.

In truth, it now seems a question of when, rather than if — especially with no cup commitments to distract them. A win against Fulham would be another major step towards securing their second league title in six seasons.

And the statistics suggest Liverpool are well-placed to do just that.

The Reds have netted 38 goals in 15 away Premier League matches this season—an average of 2.53 per game. They are also unbeaten in their last six away league meetings with Fulham (W4 D2) since a 1-0 defeat in December 2011.

Fulham, however, have struggled against league leaders, collecting just one point from their last 11 Premier League matches against sides starting the day at the summit (D1 L10).

That sole point, however, came against Liverpool in a 2-2 draw in this season’s reverse fixture.

Marco Silva’s side currently sit ninth and remain in the hunt for European football next season. They are just five points off the Champions League places, with both the Europa League and Conference League qualification within reach.

However, recent form is a concern. The Cottagers have lost three of their last four matches in all competitions, including their midweek defeat at Arsenal.

Liverpool Win and BTTS

This is a contest that usually features goals for both sides. Including the 2-2 draw at Anfield earlier this season, Fulham and Liverpool have scored in nine of their last 10 meetings at Craven Cottage.

As mentioned, Liverpool have scored 38 goals in 15 away Premier League matches this season, an average of 2.53 goals per game. That is their joint best in a top-flight season and goes some way to explaining why they have taken eight more points and scored eight more goals on the road than any other Premier League side.

As for Fulham, since the start of last season, they've have scored 53 Premier League goals at Craven Cottage and have only blanked four times at home this season.

Mr Assist

Mohamed Salah is more than capable of providing an assist at Craven Cottage this weekend.

Across their last four away Premier League matches, Liverpool have scored eight goals and all eight have either been scored (5) or assisted (3) by Mohamed Salah. He also assisted against Fulham in the reverse fixture back in December.
