But Warren says not since the Three Lions’ heroics in 66 will British fans have seen anything as big as Fury vs Joshua.

Asked if it is Britain’s greatest sporting moment since that 4-2 win over West Germany, Warren told SunSport: “I think it is. The country will stop.

“People are going to be up, if it’s 1 o’clock in the morning, whatever time it’s on, the nation will stop.

“Netflix is going to get the biggest ratings they’ve had for a sporting event, bar none.

“In this country, everybody talks about it, don’t they?

But Warren said: “It’s not been confirmed. I think at the end of the day, it’ll be down to the TV company. That’s what’s going to happen.

“You’ve got to try and hopefully accommodate everybody.

“And I know it’s going to pee a lot of people off or whatever, but the only reason this fight’s on is because somebody’s put up the money for it.

“And the person who’s put the money up for it deserves to get something from it.

“They’re taking the risk, and they’re putting up a phenomenal amount of money. A phenomenal amount of money.

But Warren said: “Times this by 100. You’re going to have all the pull-outs in the newspapers, and it’s going to be mega.

“And there’s a reason for that, because it’s been a rivalry that’s that’s been festering and going on for a long, long time.

“The good thing about it, they’re a similar age. It’s not one of those rivalries where it’s the young guy taking on the old guy.

“They’re at a similar age group.”

Warren has guided Fury for much of the ten year period he has circled AJ – and never once has the promoter’s prediction changed.

The 74-year-old said: “He’s a good finisher, Tyson, he’s strong. And what Tyson’s got is a great chin. What I mean by a great chin, he gets up.

“I mean all the fighters, Muhammad Alis, Fraziers, Foremans, you go through history, they’ve all been on the floor.

“The good ones get up who can take the shots, they get up and do it. And Tyson’s done that time and time again. Too many times actually!

“I don’t want to see it happen, but I think he’s got Joshua’s number all day long.”
