Rising star Emma has shared another major life update with her fans, revealingher first stint as an anchor on BBC rolling .

Proud Emma shared a picture of herself presenting a bulletin and captioned it:

“My very first job was making tea and printing scripts for rolling presenters at Sky.

“Today was my first day in the chair doing rolling news for the BBC and feels like a milestone!!”;

In a second post she added: “Skipped uni worked in , met some people from , asked for a job, got a job on nightshifts doing tea, printing, and emptying bins!”;

She then continued in a third post: “Ok while we’re on career storytime, as well as the bins.

“One of my other tasks at Sky News (in the wake of 9/11), was to collect the presenters mail from the postroom.

“Take it to a warehouse, put on rubber gloves, open each letter & shake it to check for anthrax.”;

Emma, who is married to coach Aaron Adams, was immediately flooded with replies from her followers.

“Congratulations and best wishes on the new post – no better woman for the job, you were fab here in Northern ,”; said one fan.

Another added: “So very proud of this (fellow) Soton gal. Her journalistic integrity has always shone through.

“Nothing as humbling as making tea and standing by the printer – we’ve all been there and know the value of work.”;

Many congratulations. Dedication, hard work and persistence pays off. Enjoy your success,”; said a third.

As another added: “I started from nothing too as have a lot of my friends.

“Shows that focus, hard work and overcoming obstacles helps build your quality of life for later years.

“All the best with your career and well done for becoming someone to look up to.”;

Emma also posted a video on showing a behind-the-scenes look at her role, which said: “Bit of a first for me today sitting in That Chair – presenting rolling news.

“Waiting in the wings knowing anything could break, and you have to deal with it! Can confirm three hrs goes like a flash.”;
