CHELSEA were thrashed 4-1 by Brighton on Graham Potter’s first return to the Amex Arena.

Two own goals plus one each from Leandro Trossard and Pascal Gross inspired a huge win for the Seagulls.

Meanwhile, Frenkie de Jong remains a ‘dream’ for Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag and Barcelona could be prepared to sell the midfielder.

Having been a target for both the Red Devils and Chelsea this summer, De Jong opted to stay in Spain.

But now he could leave, with Barcelona ready to sell up to five players after their Champions League exit .
