CHELSEA successfully progressed into the last-16 of the Champions League with a win over Austrian giants RB Salzburg.
Kai Havertz’ sensational goal was the difference maker and it ultimately ended Salzburg’s 40-game unbeaten run at home.
And it seems as if Graham Potter wants to strengthen his side with Chelsea reportedly plotting a move for Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough have appointed former Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick as their new manager.
When quizzed about adopting Sir Alex Ferguson’s tactics, Carrick said: “I’ve got to trust my own instincts and not try to copy too much.
“But I’ve spoken to Sir Alex a few times and he spoke a lot about being your own man sticking to your beliefs.”
