THIS is the moment a driver overtook a car before he hit a headteacher and dragged him more than a mile to death, a murder trial heard.
Michael Mullins, 56, was struck by a black XC90 as he cycled home from Stretford Grammar School in on April 20.

Simon Richardson, 35, allegedly drove at speed through give way markers at a junction in Warburton, Altrincham, and into the path of the dad.
Prosecutors claim Richardson knew Michael was beneath the wheels of his vehicle but “put his foot down” and drove on anyway.
Footage played to jurors shows his Volvo veering into oncoming traffic to overtake other motorists just moments before he hit the headteacher.
The CPS also shared an image of the Volvo with Richardson in the driver’s seat, which was allegedly taken moments after the collision.
There appears to be a dent to the front right area of the car bonnet and Richardson’s driver’s window looks to be fully down, the heard.
Jurors heard evidence from Dr Terrence McGloughlin, a consultant in emergency medicine, who was asked if Michael would have survived the initial impact.
Dr McLoughlin said: “My understanding from the evidence is that he survived the initial impact.”
Asked whether Michael was unconscious while being dragged, he added: “On the evidence provided I am unable to say whether he was conscious or not.”

Dr McGloughlin said evidence from an Watch worn by the dad showed that the moment he was released from the car, the watch continued to record his heart.
He told the court: “It supports that he was still physiologically alive.”
The court heard previously how Michael was discovered lying on a grass verge in Lymm, Cheshire – 2.2km from the collision.
Andrew Besant-Roberts told Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court: “I very quickly noticed a strange trail on the road.
“I didn’t know what it was initially, but I thought it was suspicious.
“As I followed the trail, it suddenly occurred to me that it was blood.
“As it went over a white line I could see it was red.”
The trail led to Mill Lane, a single carriageway in Lymm, and then on to Wet Gate Lane, a quiet country lane, the court heard.
Mr Besant-Roberts: “I noticed the trail started to weave from left to right.
“This continued for a couple of hundred yards.
“Then I saw a cyclist on a grass verge who appeared to be in a position similar to the recovery position.
“He was laid on his side unconscious but I could see he was still breathing.”
The witness said he dialled 999 but Michael “began to deteriorate”.
He said: “His breathing became worse and worse. It was irregular with long pauses and then it just stopped.”
Mr Besant-Roberts was instructed by a call handler to give chest compressions before a paramedic arrived shortly after.
Michael was pronounced dead at the scene at 6.50pm – about 40 minutes after the collision.
The Crown say Richardson “veered sharply and deliberately from side to side” before his car mounted the verge, and that he then drove over his victim at least once before he was finally dislodged.
The defendant denies murder and an alternative count of manslaughter.
He has also pleaded not guilty to an allegation of dangerous driving on April 21 in a pursuit before he was arrested.
The trial continues.
