Flying Eagles head coach, Aliyu Zubairu has said the team will be fully prepared for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Chile.
The seven-time champions finished third at the recently concluded 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The West Africans defeated Egypt 4-1 on penalities in the third-place match.
Nigeria, champions South Africa, Morocco and Egypt will represent Africa at the World Cup.
Zubairu opined that early preparation will be key to a strong showing in Chile.
The gaffer also said he will beef up his squad with quality players ahead of the World Cup.
“We have identified the areas that need improvement,”;; Zubairu said on the team’s arrival from Egypt.
“As long as we begin preparations early, especially with the right support and an extended camping period, I’m confident we can put together a much stronger team for the World Cup.”;;
