FIFA are set to charge punters astonishing fees for stadium PARKING at the World Cup finals.

Supporters who jetted out to the Qatar edition of the tournament in 2022 found themselves paying LESS for match tickets than the proposed figures set out by the governing body, as reported by the Athletic .

The biggest show in world football – taking place next summer – will be played across USA, Mexico and Canada with the final taking place on July 19, 2026, in New York New Jersey.

But England fans making the journey for the festival of football next summer could be met with extortionate parking fees on top of match tickets.

It is reported that FIFA will charge for parking spots near venues of games between $75 & $175 per spot & per gameday.

That figure alone at the low end costs more than a Category 3 ticket to any group stage match at the 2022 World Cup Finals.

And for English punters, that could mean a huge added cost to budgets if they intend to park up cars, camper vans and other modes of transport with Thomas and the Three Lions eyeing an extended stay in the tournament which kicks off on Thursday, June 11.

England bring down the curtain on their qualifying route this week when they face Serbia on Thursday before an away trip to Albania on Sunday.

Harry Kane and Co became the first European team to book their spot at the main event next summer after dumping Latvia on the road 5-0 last month.

These two games with give Tuchel and his staff the chance to finish the campaign on a high and fine-tune the squad in the last two outings of 2025.

The big news in this camp is the return of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham alongside Manchester City’s Phil Foden.

Bournemouth star Alex Scott also landed a first call-up to the full squad and he will be hoping to land the first of many caps in the double-header.

It’s been a perfect campaign to date with six wins from six outings for England.

Tuchel has been forced into two changes from his original 25-man squad.
