FIFA on Wednesday wished legendary Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon all the best in his future.
The world’s football governing body said this while congratulating Buffon after the Juventus legend announced his retirement from professional football.
Flying Eze had earlier reported that Buffon, in an emotional video released on Twitter, had ended his incredible 28-year career.
The 45-year-old ends his astonishing football journey at his boyhood club Parma.
Reacting, FIFA, in a tweet, wrote on Twitter, “Congratulations on a wonderful career, Gianluigi. Wishing you all the best for your next chapter!”
