Batista is representing Misfits Boxing against Fame Fighting’s roster on Saturday, June 6 with the huge event airing exclusively on Sun Club.

Muscular man with dark hair and facial markings, arms crossed.Fes Batista will represent Misfits against the best of Fame Fighting, airing on Sun Club A shirtless man with tattoos on his arms, wearing black shorts with "NFT Gym" written on them, stands with his arms crossed. He will take on Germany’s Kevin Njie

Njie has had two boxing bouts – winning both – having previously played in Germany’s second tier before embarking on a reality TV stint.

And although Batista – – is giving away the size he believes his skill and experience will make all the difference.

Batista said on Sun Boxing’s Corner Talk podcast: “He’s gonna try and knock me out early. Because he knows I’m considerably smaller than him naturally.

“That’s 100 per cent what he’s going to do. And as long as I can avoid that early, move around, use my boxing IQ.

“I know he’s been boxing only two years. I’ve been boxing over ten years more than him. So I gotta use the skills. Use multiple layers of defence.

“And then the later the fight goes on the easier it will get for me. But I’ve got to move around.

“I can’t stand in front of him because if I trade with him, he’s a cruiserweight. He’s fought at 200lb before.

“I can’t even make 200lb if I wanted to! Now his lack of boxing experience is in my favour, but his advantage is his size.

“He’s got his big muscles and strong, no body fat, his weight class. So it’s like he’s definitely a physical specimen. So I have to be careful.

“I have to respect that he has the power to potentially hurt me. So I’ve got to be smart, and not get carried away with a fire fight like I did with Idris.

“Obviously, Idris hit me so hard, my arm was vibrating, I’m like, ‘What?’ So I completely lost it, saw red.

“And yeah, I shouldn’t be pushing the referee out the way and trying to fight again. Like I should have boxed. I should have moved around.

“But I almost felt like I was being bullied. And I didn’t want to be bullied. So I got very angry and I lost my cool and I tried to just throw the kitchen sink.

“I am a bit surprised I didn’t kick him! I probably should have, but you know what, I’ve learned a lesson there. I must keep my cool.

“So even if he hits me hard early, which I expect, I must stay cool, calm, and just know that okay, ride it out, and keep moving and then as the fight goes on, I know my chances will increase.”

Njie – the star of Germany’s Too Hot to Handle – has won both his boxing bouts on the Fame Fighting promotion.

And Batista said: “He’s a former footballer, so he’s gonna be athletic. He’s, he’s quite uh, quite a bit bigger than me.

“He’s, I think 6’1 or something. But he’s quite strong at this weight. And at this weight it’s um, it’s a considerably heavier for me.

“I’m a welterweight at max. So last time I was at 175, it wasn’t great. But that was against Idris Virgo. He was a pro. This guy’s not a pro.

“So it’s gonna be an interesting one. He seems strong, he seems explosive. But I’ve got the boxing experience, so it’s gonna be very interesting.”
