A TWISTED paedophile, 80, who forced a teenage boy to have sex with her has been jailed.
Hazel Templeton launched multiple attacks on her victim and made sick threats to keep him silent.
Newport Crown heard the depraved sex offender targeted the young boy in the 1980s.
A jury heard she forced him to touch, and carry out a sex act on her, as well as coercing him into sexual intercourse twice.
The traumatised victim had attempted to harm himself at the time, the court heard.
Templeton also has previous convictions for indecent assaults and gross indecency with a child.
Last year, she was sentenced to two years and nine months imprisonment at Laganside Crown Court in .
Defending, Sol Hartley said there was no suggestion Templeton was at risk of re-offending.
Mr Hartley told the court his client had taken on various volunteering jobs including with the PTA throughout her life.
He added how her 90-year-old partner was “petrified” he would die before she was released.
A jury today found Templeton guilty of four counts of indecent assault.
In a harrowing victim personal statement, read to the court by prosecutor Jeffrey Jones, the victim said: “Following the guilty verdicts in this case I believed I would feel a sense of peace, stress levels would decrease and I would start to feel happy.
“Instead I have found myself gasping for breath, breaking out in cold sweats, and crying with an overwhelming sense of loss and shame for what I allowed to happen.
“After more than 40 years it is impossible for myself and the court to quantify the damage the defendant has done to me or my family.
“The multiple crimes the defendant continually visited upon me left me with trust issues, affecting my parents and partners. The emotional abuse far outweighs the physical. What she stole should never have been hers.
“She used her position of trust to threaten me, making it impossible to trust those who could have and should have been trusted to help.
“I realised I was so effectively groomed, it went some way to explain my thoughts of suicide as a [teenager], confused and unsure who to trust and feeling unsafe.”
Templeton was sentenced to three years and nine months, to be served concurrently with her current sentence.
The defendant was also made subject to sex offender notification requirements indefinitely.
Upon sentencing, Judge Celia Hughes said: “There is no evidence you have expressed any remorse or acceptance of your guilt for those offences I sentence you for today.
“You have exploited the victim’s innocence for your own sexual pleasure.
“It’s quite shocking you behaved in this way to a (teenage) boy when you were a mother to similar aged daughters.
“You left him confused, fearful and at times suicidal.”
