WORLD CUP fans reckon Scotland were lucky not to concede TWO penalties and go down to ten men during their World Cup opener.
John McGinn grabbed what proved to be the winner as Steve Clarke’s side notched a over tournament debutants Haiti.

It means the Scots are top of Group C after Brazil were against Morocco.
But Haiti were left fuming after some controversial decisions did not go their way in Boston.
Algerian ref Mustapha Ghorbal waved away two penalty appeals when Grant Hanley appeared to handle the ball.
And Kenny McLean, who against Denmark in qualifying, was lucky to escape a red card when he caught Josue Casimir on the knee with a wild challenge.
Irate fans rushed onto social media to claim Scotland were fortunate not to be penalised.
One said: “Haiti robbed, clear penalty!”
Another added: “I don’t understand how didn’t review that clear handball inside the box.”
A third noted: “Pen all day long… Haiti got robbed.”

And a fifth claimed: “They robbed Haiti the match – Fifa needs to get sued.”

The Tartan Army will now be backing their side to book their place in the knockout stages when they face Morocco on Friday.
