FOOTBALL fans were left baffled after noticing something unusual about the MKM Stadium ahead of the Premier League match between Hull City and Manchester United.
Newly-promoted Hull played host to United in the first 12:30pm Saturday match of the season.

Fans were baffled to see the floodlights switched on
However, fans were confused to see the floodlights on – despite kick-off being in the middle of the day in August.
One person said: “Did anyone tell the Hull groundspeople that it was a 1230 kick off v #MUFC? Floodlights on?”
Another said: “Most of the UK are having a heatwave, yet Hull has managed to look like a midwinter game with the floodlights on at midday.
“Welcome back to the Premier League.”
