A showdown between Danis and Warren Spencer kicked off the Misfits MMA era, although it didn’t last long.
Danis, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Marcelo Garcia, to stretch his record to a perfect 3-0.
Many have been wondering who the dance partner for the American, a longtime friend of UFC superstar , will be if Misfits dabble in MMA again.
And it could very well end up being former mixed martial artist turned standout Josh Brueckner, who has opened the door to being Danis’ next MMA outing.

In an exclusive interview with SunSport ahead of his clash with Tobias Pietrek, he said: “I’d fight Dillon Danis tomorrow.”
Brueckner, 31, has fully dedicated himself to the Sweet Science over the last six years.

“Obviously, I didn’t do boxing [to begin with] I did MMA.
“And I know everyone thinks they’re the same sports, but they’re very, very different.
“In in MMA, I like kicking people in the head and like breaking their limbs, And, you know, you can’t do that in boxing.
“So I would love to get in the ring or a cage and kick somebody in the head again – that’d be awesome.”
