FORMULA ONE fans could not get enough of Colin Farrell’s interview at the Miami Grand Prix this past weekend.

The A-lister jetted in to watch the fourth race on the calendar despite concerns that stormy weather could halt the event.

In the end, organisers and it went off without a hitch, with

caught up with the Irish acting legend during his famous grid walk and Farrell was only too happy to see the Sky Sports reporter.

Farrell joked that Brundle “handn’t called him” before talking about his love for the sport.

He said: ‘The first race I went to was Monza in 98 on a package holiday, me and two lads in a dodgy hotel in the same room, flying .

“That was the V10s back then and the Schumachers, both brothers came first and third, Eddie Irvine came second, so I’ve loved it since then I love this, it’s mega to be here.”

Fans lauded not only how down to earth Farrell appeared to be, but just what a real F1 fan he appears to be.

One fan wrote: “Get on the grid EVERY weekend, love that man.”

Another posted: “Love an Irish celeb loving F1, if they do another F1 movie get Colin in, even just a cameo.”

A third commented: “Celebs who have the interest – game changer! Get Colin on there very week if you ask me.”

A fourth remarked: “You can tell Colin is ther because he loves it! What a fun interview.”

Farrell was treated to a solid race with pair and Oscar Piastri rounding off the podium respectively.

Antonelli has now become the third driver ever to earn his first three F1 wins in consecutive races, sharing the feat with and Mika Hakkinen.
