During his sermon titled “The Next Minute After Death,” Ajibola reassured the immediate family and friends of the deceased, urging them not to fear.

He affirmed that the deceased had found rest with God due to his good deeds on earth and his personal relationship with the Lord as a born-again Christian.

Ajibola, referencing Second Corinthians chapter 5–10, also characterized the deceased as a man who was deeply devoted to his family and the church during his lifetime.

He acknowledged that his absence would create a void that may not be easily filled, both at home and within the church community.

He stated, “The word of God provides us with ample assurance that anyone who dies in Christ is alive; thus, we are always confident that those who believe in Christ shall never die. That faith is the essence of the life of God.”

The wife of the deceased, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Oke, in her tribute, described her husband as a loving and nurturing father to their children and the family as a whole.

She expressed, “My dear husband, I am grateful for the significant impact you made on your generation, and your legacy will endure. Surely, you are now in glory with your Maker.

“Femi, your love was my sanctuary, a rare gift of unparalleled worth. Although I struggle to find the right words to convey the depth of your influence on me as an irreplaceable husband, I will spend each day thanking God for the privilege of being your wife.”
