Former Super Eagles head coaches, Sunday Oliseh and Austin Eguavoen, have hailed goalkeeper Francis Uzoho’s performance as Omonoia lost 1-0 against Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday.
Uzoho produced a stunning performance against Man United at Old Trafford to keep out the Premier League giants.
However, the Super Eagles shot-stopper could not keep out Scott McTominay’s shot in the 93rd minute of the game – a goal that proved to be the winner last night.
Reacting, Oliseh, in a tweet via his Twitter handle after the match, described Uzoho’s performance against Manchester United as a five-star display.
Oliseh tweeted: “Naija’s own Francis Uzoho has put up a 5-star performance today versus Man. United. Simply “safe” hands all through.”
Similarly, Eguavoen, on the other hand, branded Uzoho as a ‘Cristiano Ronaldo fanboy’.
He tweeted: “One in every ten professional footballers is a Cristiano Ronaldo fanboy. Spectacular performance from Francis Uzoho. He held his own tonight.”
